Abstract.The aim of this paper is to investigate two generalized nonlinear
Boussinesq equations in (1+1) dimensional space and two modified
nonlinear Camassa-Holm-KP equations in (2+1) dimensional space.
The compactons, solitons, solitary patterns and periodic solutions
for each of the equations are expressed analytically under various
circumstances. The qualitative change in the physical structures
of the solutions is also analyzed.
