Abstract. For all integers $a\ge 0$ and $r\ge 3$ an $a$-decorated line $D\subset \mathbb {P}^r$ is a scheme union of a line $D_{\red}$ and $a$ tangent vectors of $\mathbb {P}^r$ at points of $D_{\red}$. Here we study the postulation of general disjoint unions of $a$-decorated lines.
