ULAM STABILITY OF A MIXED TYPE
ADDITIVE-QUARTIC FUNCTIONAL EQUATION

Abstract. In this paper, we obtain the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of a the functional equation
\begin{multline*}
f(2x+y)+f(x+2y)-9f(x+y)+f(x-y)\\
= f(2x)-7f(x)+8f(-y)+f(y).
