Abstract.Let $X$ be a smooth projective curve and $P_1,\dots ,P_s\in X$ such that $P_i \ne P_j$, for all $i \ne j$. Here we first discuss the notion of Weierstrass points and Weierstrass $n$-ples for the pair $(X,(P_1,\dots ,P_s))$, i.e. for $s$-pointed curves. At the end of this note we discuss the Brill-Noether theory of the pair $(X,(P_1,\dots ,P_s))$.
