INVERSE STABILITY OF COLLOCATION METHODS
FOR MIXED ORDER SYSTEMS

Abstract.This paper is devoted to studying the inverse stability constant reflecting the sensitivity with respect to perturbation measured in absolute values. A short proof will be given for the inverse stability of collocation methods for mixed order systems of equations with linear boundary conditions. A perturbation can be done on the resulting collocation system of equations without affecting the accuracy of the numerical solution of the two-points boundary value problem.
