Abstract. The aim of this note is to point out the possibility of extending and unifying the results of Shu-Cherng Fang et al [#!4!#], Xiao-bing Qu et al [#!6!#] and the citations therein to a wider class of optimization problems with additively separable objective function and max-separable constraints. Some ideas of Jajou [#!2!#], Jajou et al [#!3!#] are used throughout the paper. Besides, we use some results of Cuninghame-Green [#!1!#], Vorobjov [#!5!#], in which problems with a less general set of feasible solutions and max-separable objective functions were solved.
