Abstract.The notion of entropy is of fundamental importance in the different areas such as probability and statistics, communication theory, economics and physics. In this paper, we propose two new broad classes of measures of uncertainty for a random variable based on the survival exponential entropy and derive explicit expressions of the proposed measures for one and two parametric exponential distributions. Also its particular cases have been studied.
