Abstract. The effects of the photogravitational and
oblateness of the bigger primary and oblateness of the smaller primary
to study the existence and stability of collinear equilibrium points
in, the planar elliptical restricted three body problem have been discussed.
We have analysed and investigated the stability of one of the collinear
equilibrium points. The technique adopted in this research paper used Sahoo and Ishwar (see [1]) have been exploited to discuss the stability
of one of the collinear equilibrium points. We have also adopted the
simulation technique, using MATLAB 6.1 to analyze the stability of
the system. We have also traced the different curves of zero velocity.
