ON THE DIOPHANTINE EQUATION $89^x + 91^y = z^2$

Abstract. In this paper, we prove that the Diophantine equation $89^x + 91^y = z^2$ has no non-negative integer solution where $x$, $y$ and $z$ are non-negative integers.
