ON THE DIOPHANTINE EQUATION $7^x + 31^y = z^2$

Abstract. In this paper, we show that the Diophantine equation $7^x + 31^y = z^2$ has no non-negative integer solution where $x,y$ and $z$ are non-negative integers.
