$(\alpha, 1)$ DERIVATIONS ON SEMIRINGS

Abstract. Motivated by some works on derivations on rings and near-rings, Chandramoulesswaran and Thiruveni discussed the notion of derivations on semirings. In this paper, we introduce the notion of two sided $\alpha$ derivation and $(\alpha, 1)$ derivation on a semiring and derive some of its properties.
