Abstract. In the first half of this paper, we solve the problem of how many different sepak takraw ball patterns can be made from six polypropylene bands of different colors. An important point here is chirality. In the paper's second half, we adopt a mathematical point of view to discuss the positions of the 60 carbon atoms and single and double bonds in C fullerene, which has the shape of a truncated icosahedron.
