Abstract. In this paper, we characterize the notion of weakly biased maps as a generalization of occasionally weakly compatible(owc) maps and establish common fixed point theorems for two pairs of weakly biased (resp. of type (A)) by using property (E.A.), without appealing continuity and completeness of space. The results improve and extend Theorem 2.11 in [12] and Theorem 3.5 in [10].
